Sign up to participate in the Engineering Merit Badge Program at the Barber Museum! This program is on the move from start to finish and includes a hands-on Build-a-Bike activity, a tour of the largest motorcycle collection in the world, and a short film. With stunning views of the Barber Motorsports Road Course, vehicle exhibits, and restoration shop, the museum offers a thrilling environment in which to learn about the field of engineering.
Starting now, scouts are eligible to use available funds from their scout account to purchase items from the Scout Shop and Hikers Direct. Simply present a receipt for items purchased at the Scout Shop and the treasurer will reimburse you. Once you receive the items you ordered from Hikers Direct, present the packing list and invoice of the items purchased and the treasurer will reimburse you. A positive balance in the scouts account is required for reimbursement.
Our Troop needs parents who are willing to serve as Merit Badge Counselors. You do not have to be an expert in the merit badge subject. You might have knowledge of a subject because of your job, education, background, or hobby. Please look over the list of merit badges, read over the requirements (http://meritbadge.org/wiki/index.php/Merit_Badges) for the ones that you think would be a good fit for you. It is very beneficial for Troop 354 to have merit badge counselors for our boys to utilize. They are more apt to want to work on a merit badge if they can work on it with an adult that they are familiar with.
